3 stars "Don't Eat The Yellow Snow" is a single release by US experimental rock artist Frank Zappa. The single was released in August 1974 through the Discreet Records label. Some versions feature "Cosmik Debris" as the B-Side track and some versions feature "Camarillo Brillo". While "Don't Eat The Yellow Snow" is featured on "Apostrophe (')(1974)", both B-side tracks are featured on "Overnight Sensation (1973)".

The single was one of Frank Zappaīs first commercially successful releases and it was one of the tracks from the early part of his discography that helped bring his music to a wider audience and as a consequnece also helped to fund some of his more obscure releases. In that respect a single release like this is is worth itīs weight in gold, but for fans who already own the two albums where the tracks are taken from, this is not the most interesting release, however great the material are. And it certainly is high quality material played by very skilled musicians, featuring a high entertainment value. Itīs funny, itīs clever and itīs bold. A 3 star (60%) rating is deserved.
