3 stars A perfectly OK compilation album from Rainbow.

A lot of things can be said about this band. This band's sound is an aquired taste. Their music is not easy listening, with the exception from the commercially very succesful Difficult To Cure album. Rainbow was always the brainchild of Ritchie Blackmore's various moods. Hence the amount of musicians passing through Rainbow more frequent than rain- showers over England. I more a fan of Ronnie James Dio's contributions than the likes of Graham Bonnet and Joe Lynn Turner. Nothing wrong with the latter ones, but I think Dio suited Rainbow's sound better. The songs on this album is good and this is a good first purchase for those who want to know Rainbow better. No more; no less.

3 stars.
