5 stars Unfortunately I do not have the limited edition, 5 disc "Children Of The Fence" edition, only the normal 2 disc edition so I'll be giving my thoughts on that and seeing as the heading of this DVD release only refers to the "Children Of The Fence" edition I just thought I should clear that up. OK, on to my review.

It is absolutely brilliant! I love it to bits! Two DVD's packed to the brim with some of the best live material I have ever seen.

Firstly the video quality. On the back of it's cover it says "filmed in high definition" and it looks the part. Very crisp and detailed. Excellent quality. I watched it upscaled to 1080p and it looks lovely.

Sound quality. No multi channel mix. It is a Dolby Digital, two channel, 48kHz, 256kbps soundtrack and it sounds great. Really great! Every instrument is clear as day and mixed perfectly in my opinion. Nothing is too hard or too soft. Perfect balance.

The concerts. All four albums performed live from front to back with the ocassional extras thrown in for good measure which include solos and covers. In the DVD cover the guys make mention of mistakes made during their performances but hell, they are barely noticable. Perhaps songs played with a little bit of extra speed or one or two notes here and there but overall it is flawless. Coheed & Cambria are extremely good live and for me, the songs sound even better live than on the actual albums.

These guys are very talented musicians and all four nights are performed with great enthusiasm. It's an absolute pleasure to watch these DVD's.

Very, very highly recommended. A no-brainer for fans and for everyone else looking for a real quality release, look no further.
