1 stars OK, I am going against the grain here I will probably get some stick for this review. But I find this album totally devoid of any interesting music.

The music here is accoustic guitars with vocals on the top. Neither the guitars and the vocals are particular great. It is the stuff you get when you are camping outdoors with a six- pack of strong beer and bring a guitar along. The difference is that the music would be better than the music on Kveldssanger. Frankly, there is nothing here of any interest. This album is a pseudo-intellectual folk music album with no substance. I honestly do not know why this album was released. Ulver is a fine band and probably one of the more interesting acts ever to come from Norway. But this album is a turkey. Please pass me the potatoes and the vegetables.
