3 stars This is definitely the weakest album by GIAA. I find the drums to be annoying. They sound like they came from a cheap electronic drum kit. The rest of the mix is good in a post rocky kind of way, but the drums sound like they belong with a totally different song sometimes. The band's sound is totally different (and better) in the later albums. If you are looking to explore GIAA, I would recomend starting with 'All Is Violent, all Is Bright' and then going forward. This album is not horrible by any means, but it is not amazing either.
