3 stars This is a phenomenal record, kind of gets away from the overall prog style he had always used, but this is a very good classic rock album with hints of his prog sound scattered here and there, his trademark violin was a genuine original and unique sound, even to this day, it's really dumb luck this didn't catch on, with clear standout songs, that would've shot them to popularity had they gotten the promotion and radio play they needed, the songs I Saw Her Today, and the ultra standout track The Skanner, are truly just good songs, the entire album is good, and its just mind boggling how some bands became ultra stars, on the wings of mediocre to bad songs and albums, and this talented and unique band went pretty much completely unknown, that's being generous, I doubt it will ever happen, but I would love nothing more then to get a copy of this digitally cleaned up, but Im sure pigs will fly before that happens, anyways, awesome album, check it out.
