4 stars Death is one of the piles of extreme metal genre with some of their album cornerstones of music in general. This DVD, like the live album, has the perseverance line-up and was released in order to help raise money for Chuck's ongoing fight against cancer. It was recorded in USA in 1998 in DVD format in L.A. . The diffrence between this one and Eidhoven concert same year is, here Death sounds a little more tight and the sound is better then on Dynamo. This DVD is the companion of the CD live released same period and has almost the sound of a bootleg, very raw but in same time very energic and full of great pieces. Anyway the performance is brilliant and shows how great and full of talent Death is. On DVD Death covers almost all albums, pieces like Suicide machine from Human or Trapped in a corner from Individual Thoughts Patterns are brilliant example when crowded going. The footage like the sound is very raw but capture what is best in Death , great performance with outstanding musicianship and top notch pieces. Chuck Schuldiner gives a lot of effort on stage like the rest of the musicians, and proves once again he was (is) one of the best musicians ever. Recommended DVD for the good old times, and a document that every serious fan must have, and other listners aswell, worth it for sure. 4 stars.
