1 stars Absolute horrible, and it's sad to see this was the last album from a once great band.

In The Hot Seat is the result of an already-tired band combined with awful restrictions for a radio-friendly album. This wasn't expected to be a success of course, since Yes and Genesis both faced a similar situation, but ELP was definitely the one that produced the most atrocious album. Love Beach was an absolute disappointment and although Black Moon at least tried to be good, In The Hot Seat was the final stamp that sealed the fate of this band. Nothing is remarkable, or even enjoyable in this album. I have heard it twice and I don't even remember a single song, and that says how un-memorable it is.

I wish I could give 0 stars to this album but unfortunately 1 star is the lowest rating.
