4 stars Red, which released in October of 1974, is the seventh studio album by the English band King Crimson. Red still has the bands jazz elements that they always had and as always its a welcome addition, but there are a lot more heavy segments in this album than usual as well, and they really blend well in this album. The instrumentation in this album is excellent, not a bad song, the production is okay, and I feel like some of the tones are not as good or fitting. Minor issues. But still a masterpiece and an essential, but I will only give it a 4.5/5.
