4 stars Hmmm. This is easily BOC's worst live album, Buck's guitar soloing is full of mistakes (Burning for You is absolutely unlistenable) which is really a shame, when he's on form he is one of the best rock guitarists around -- and overall the performance isn't quite as good as their earlier live albums. The addition of Lips in the Hills is fantastic though, it would have been good to have more underplayed songs like that.

Of course this album can't live up to their previous legacy, with Some Enchanted Evening being one of the best live albums of all time, and Extraterrestial Live being fantastic also, but it is decent overall. Blue Oyster Cult are a fantastic rock band - they are not prog, Imaginos has some prog elements, but nothing else really - but music doesn't need to be prog to be good, so if you want a great rock album, check out Some Enchanted Evening, Tyranny and Mutation or Secret Treaties.
