King Crimson's most iconic album, and their third best! (Sorry, Larks and Red are just too good)

There's a big reason why I can't give it five stars, and that reason is Moonchild. I don't think I can name another track in an important prog release that brings its respective album down as much as Moonchild. It's simply a waste of TWELVE minutes! Jesus Christ!

Anyways, the rest is obviously perfect. I won't go on a very specific track-by-track review, however it is obviously worth saying that this was an incredibly important release for the prog universe. It was bold, creative and imaginative, and these aspects were applied perfectly to this album (except in Moonchild).

Honestly, this should be in every single prog rock collection, but mostly because of how important and iconic it is, and for historical reasons. I feel like King Crimson would become a more mature band (or well, project, since they changed their line-up like a thousand times) with following albums like Larks' Tongues In Aspic or Red.

Three Stars! I hate you Moonchild! I really do!
