4 stars Provided by a four-piece combo from Mendoza, Argentina, this is an extraordinary debut album, served with a rather unique instrumental jazz fusion stamp. Way more multi-varianted anyhow, not necessarily reduced on that genre, that's assured. The groove packed Intro lets you stuck on this. A must. Eight songs are provided by the band in total, the longest clocks around eight minutes playing time. Mariano Fliri offers a wonderful eclectic range of keyboard respectively synthesizer impressions all over. Exemplarily to hear on the Canterbury inspired Vórtice. In combination with Axel Mattis' psychedelic tinged rhythm and solo guitar, as well as the lively drums and bass, this partially comes close the Italian band Haeka regarding the musical implementation. Showcases an approach I really like that much in general.

The album title means tides in English language, and yes, it is arguable that the music evolves like ebb and flow during round about 45 album minutes. For example with Solitario Spider they are building up real suspense. Curious and soaring guitars, the drumming is simply superb! Trashilvania actually even sounds Hammond infiltrated towards the end. Wonderful flow regarding the delightful Reverbi. This marks a real highlight. Amapolas will be announced with some Asia influenced ethno world spice, leading into a rather heavy and furious finale. 4.5 stars. Cunning, inventive, 'Mareas' turns out to be another late but pleasant surprise anyhow. Might have been another strong contender for the album of the year 2020 contest ... if only I would have been aware of this early enough.
