3 stars McOil from Germany, with their one and only release from 1979 named All Our Hopes is a very worthy purchase by anyone intrested in heavy prog of the '70's. Great album for me, mixing very eficient and with uptempo moments very well performed with rough voice of Karl Wild, Mc Oil realy done a good album from start to finish. Great use of keybords with the roughness of the guitar. They come to late in this scene and they falling very quikly into oblivion after they disbanding in 1986, but with the re issue of the CD in 1993 , they got little more attention then before, the light spot the've deserved. All pieces stands as good, nothing is boring as other mentioned, and taken by the year of the first issue 1979 is a fair album, keeping in mind that almost all bands from prog scene from that period were making comercial and mainstream prog. 3.5 stars for this swan song, similar with Hayoka, or other heavy prog bands from that period or earlier.
