I bought this cd because it was recommended, and reviews mentioned ELP and KING CRIMSON. Well, I have to say I am very disappointed. This is nothing like the grandiose prog rock of ELP or the darkly beautiful symphonic music of early CRIMSON. QUATERMASS has some psych/prog tendencies, but the couple of tracks that show potential are merely deviations from the straight blues rock that is the main component of their music. The album is ultimately a dissatisfying experience.
