4 stars "GUITAR NOIR" is a wonderful album. It has a interesting variety. The best song, in my opinion, is an instrumental "SIERRA QUEMADA"....wonderful guitar playing...how he does it?

Also "There are many sides to the Nights", "Take this pearls" and "Waling away from rainbows" receive delicate and wonderful playing from Mr. Hackett. There are few misteps in Steve Hackett musical solo career. This is simply one of his best among other great great cds such as "Dark Town", "Spectral Mornings" or "To watch the storms".

He is simply one of the truly great guitar masters.......
