3 stars Asia.....well, some like it and some dont! Fact is... they carved the road for prog/artrock and the likes in a time where pop/disco/hip hop... rap.. an [&*!#] (sorry).. were the general music of the day...here we are speaking of...the later 1980 and on..... day...oh..yes ,it is pop prog at best...it is commercial (well..selling thousand of records- usually defines that /anykind of music)but its also music...seriuosly contemplated as an art from the involved musicians....and i do believe that these guys and others of the genre, have paved the way....so that we.. prog freaks can listen and enjoy..to the groups after (of course before) who have had a benefit from the experience of hearring or indeed participating in the band or some band like it!! Asia..i think they´re great....pop prog maybe....but great !!!Progmusic...aaahhhh.. remember that popmusic and rock music..along with cousin jazz..with an ear to classical, made this genre!!! Have a nice summer.....enjoy the sun ..enjoy your travel..enjoy your family.... enjoy Asia !! And even though Carl Palmer..dont ever wanna hear"Heat of the moment" again.... its still a great popsong !!!
