CLOSE TO THE EDGE

Close to The Edge: An undeniable masterpiece and achievement in the prog universe. The vocals are as good as they ever have been, guitar and drums lay out some seriously gorgeous grooves, and the keyboards really seal the deal by adding immense depth to this song. As always, the lyrics are wonderfully written and really beautiful. I wouldn't quite call it the best song ever but its damn close- certainly a top 5 all time. A true masterpiece- 10/10

And You And I I really don't have much to say about this song other than its pretty great. Its a standard yes song as far as I am concerned, but certainly nothing groundbreaking like Close to The Edge. A smart song to follow up CTTE. A very solid 8/10

Siberian Khatru Very similar in structure to And You And I in the sense that they are both longer jammier songs, and again it certainly feels like a typical great yes song. This one is very catchy and strikes a really great balance between prog and your average song. 9/10

Overall: A must listen to anyone who likes the prog sphere of genres, simply for the title track. To anyone who is listening to the yes discography chronologically, get ready for their next two albums as they are some of their best.
