FISH OUT OF WATER

One more fact we can not deny; Squire is Yes and Yes is Squire. Pick out any Yes album at random and you can find any line up consisting of 2 drummers, 2 lead vocalists, 4 keyboardists and 3 guitarists. The only consistant credit you will see is 'Chris Squire-Bass/Vocals'. That is why this is refered to as "the lost Yes album". My first exposure to this album was a clip on Don Kirshner's Rock Concert when I was just starting Junior High School. I was very excited about my biggest influence as a bassist doing a solo album. In fact, Squire has influenced an entire generation of bassists and singlehandedly caused hundreds of Rickenbacker 4001s to be ruined. The CEO of the company went as far as to call Chris down to the factory to yell at him personally (originally he thought he was going to get the star treatment for making the Rick a household name). Even though the bass playing is remarkable, the keyboard performances are even more impressive. It's refreshing to hear a rock based album that doesn't center around guitar athletics. ELP wishes they could have made an album like this.
