4 stars What makes the Yes music so wonderful, unique and original is that under the umbrella of the band great and original musicians have used to summon. However, only one of them has been present for all the time and it is Chris Squire. Maybe this is the reason why he produced just one solo project only. He has realized his ideas in the frame of Yes. Still, his solo album, Fish out of water, does not sound like he was out of water at all. It is a product of great music, great virtusity and great composing. Everything is marvelous, sometimes it is even an adventure to follow how the music is evolving from the simple motif to wider theme and finally to the overwhelming orchestral firework of sounds. Anyway, I put 4* for that album. If I had not known the Yes music, if it had been the solo opus of a solo artist, I would not have hesitated to give 5*. But when I compare it with Yes, then I miss something in this album perfection. And it is exatly that what I mentioned in the beginning, ie. the synergy of all the geniuses within the YES. Highly recommended
