This album overrated? Please have a rethink. If anyone cannot see the genius in Tubular Bells they are definitely missing something. It is not a matter of personal taste either, one can not like an album but at the same time recognise the excellent artistry at work.That would be fair. Plagiarism? Please, this is as original as the awakening it stirred in so many people all over the globe.Tubular Bells immediately put Oldfield in the company of Bach, Beethoven etc.and let noone deny that.
