2 stars This concert recording of Roy's birthday celebration at the Royal Festival Hall in 2001 is strictly for Harper's most dedicated fans as it offers nothing new in song performance that hasn't been heard before. Of Roy's guests, John Renbourn is the most noteworthy, but his performance is nothing special, unfortunately. Stormcock's orchestral arranger David Bedford showed up with a string section to bolster a few of Roy's epic tracks, but the arrangements lack the gravitas of a full orchestra and sound somewhat anemic. It's not a bad album and the recording is fairly good sounding, but this one should have stayed in Roy's archives.
