4 stars I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this album, because I had largly assumed that Gong had left their best work back in the 70's. This LP is apparently Radio Gnome Invisible Part 4 following on from there classic Trilogy in the 70's. However this LP bears little resemblance to the previous albums but doesn't let the listener down as a result.

There are some great tracks on this album and Allen's voice is as mesmerising as ever. There are less treatments on the sound so not as "spacy" as previous albums with a more back to basics, live sound. A wee gem off an album actualy and great to see the band are not resting on their laurals.
