3 stars This little gem was originally released as a free bonus disk for those of us who pre-ordered Dog from Mike Keneally's web site. It is now available to purchase as a download from his web site. It was intended as an introduction to "Radio Keneally", an Internet webcast featuring Keneally's music, including many rarities.

The band is the same as the band on Dog. Rick Mussallam on guitars, Bryan Beller on bass, Nick D'Virgilio on drums, and, of course, Mike Keneally.

The main reason to own this release is Li'l, a nice jazzy prog piece, originally meant for the Dog album, but cut from the final release. There is also a nicely performed live medley, well worth owning. Party Poopers is sort of a throwaway piece, similar in feel to Zappa's Dummy Up from the Roxy & Elsewhere album.

Because of it's length, I wouldn't call it essential, but for a Keneally fan, it's nice to own.
