2 stars This is as far as I know the final Abigor album before they broke up and took a long break. A good idea, in my view.

I admit I have problems taking Abigor seriously. Their music is copycats of the Scandinavian scene and the quality of their material and their output is pretty unremarkable.

Abigor has introduced some keyboards on this album and slightly gone down the Dimmu Borgir path. In other words, the music is more symphonic and epic this time around. The quality is still not good though. The music varies between symphonic interludes with keyboards and traditional black metal in the Venom vein. It sounds slightly progressive, but it ain't. Abigor is just jumping on this symphonic black metal band wagon without injecting their own identity. Copycats.......

The material here makes this a pretty dull album. It certainly cures insomnia at work...... I am doing this review inbetween my daytime work and I am nodding off now and then. Not a good idea when my daytime job is bus driver with 40 kids in the bus..................... Just joking. This album is not bad. It is just dull.
