SHADOWS OF THE SUN

Atmosphere - - atmosphere. This is definitely a gem that is hard to classify. Lyrically haunting and also laden with abstract and discordant arrangements, this impulsive discovery of mine (thanks mostly to this site) was well worth the blind leap. I am not quite sure about the math/rock label for this piece as I often feel as though I am listening to a younger sibling of Vangelis trying to escape from a heavily encrusted cocoon that may represent an emergent struggle that exists when one is encumbered (or challenged) by a completely possessive and perplexing situation. I am quite sure that this piece will appeal to those that appreciate many ambient and abstract arrangements of progressive music. A nice surprise laden with the motivation for deep thoughts.
