4 stars ''Inside'' is the 2nd full-length album by the German progers, released in 1973. ELOY appeared in the 70's Prog scene with an album, that was not promissing anything familiar to their great oncoming career.

With ''Inside'''s release, the group introduces its music, that is full of influences, especially FLOYDians. The keys seem to be the band's main expression, as they appear to have a leading role. Parts that remind the FLOYD's Echoes as well as psychedelic paths, recover beautifully the whole concept. Manfred's Wieczorke work is awesome, here. The main band's composer, Frank Bornemann guides the band's style with his simple, but so meanfull guitar playing. Fritz Randow & Wolfgang Stöcker rhythm duo completes this excellent effort, presenting some flute parts, too. The vocals do not seem to be perfect due to accent's problems, but they represent a well-worthy effort.

ELOY enters the Prog Scene with an excellent album, forerunner of the band's great career. The production is typical of the 70's, full and mature. ELOY's style is about to be developed. Great musicians proving that Germany has much to say.

4 stars, really. Something big is about to be born!
