4 stars Review #159!

I'd kill for a full album of this. This feels like some of the most high-octane music to come out of The Residents, period! The lyrics are deep and complex; the rhythms are multilayered and entertaining. What's not to like? This is a big statement of mine, but I think this is the best thing The Residents did in all of the eighties. The mini-suite 'Shorty's Lament', really stand out. I might even deem it a hands-down Residents masterpiece. Superbly eclectic, absurdly groovy, and delightfully dark. There's only five songs and about twenty five minutes of material, but it's all amazing.
