4 stars Hallucinogenic dry-fruity psychedelia from Brussels. MAGDALENA SOLIS, a rock project by three versatile players, can open the novel experimental psychedelic curtain by means of their debut album "Lady Of The Wild Things". The first ghostly electronica "March Hare" is nothing but an entrance into the dream. Sounds dreamy especially the beginning of the following one "Count Your Blessings" but do not be deceived ... exactly this comfort is mind-expanding agent, that can draw your brain into intoxication. Without your intention, you will get palpitating with your deserted psychological depth, dragged by their cranky psychoactive creation named "The Pigs Monastery".

Swiftly run away from such a weird place into another comfort ... dry and spicy metallic-wind blows over the juicy fruit-garden. You can feel directly sweetness and sourness via "Jinxed". And very interesting is the next "Pink Sock Parade" (Oh, what happens?), with much ethnic flavour by a bugle or so - very good that the boo-boo bugle cannot be fit for beautiful female chorus. You can realize that's not simply a mellow dream, and they can manage their dreamy essence and eerie one both, the fullest use - e.g. "Temple Prostitutes" ... very amazing that Prostitute is exactly the opposite of Temple the solemn word.

Their energetic Kraut-ish debut shot can knock you over the real world, and you can never come back, bonded with the last dreamy orchestration. Recommended.

P.S. Oh, are the beautiful ladies in this brilliant sleeve not members of MAGDALENA SOLIS? Shame ... :-P
