4 stars A nice surprise this one! An unknown band that was founded in 1989 and judging from the music on this debut CD, they should have a bright future in the progressive rock genre.

Their music is complex and 70's oriented, and it's a mix between David BOWIE, EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER, GENTLE GIANT, HAPPY THE MAN, KING CRIMSON, MIRTHRANDIR, PINK FLOYD, SPOCK'S BEARD, VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR, and YES. Add some ambient, avant-garde, Canterbury, classical, fusion and jazz to the mix and you've got a slight idea what this CD is all about. Or you won't! They've got four improvised songs on this CD. Although the complexity the music is often melodic with catchy melodies singed by a powerful singer. All the members are talented and good at their instruments.

The highlights are the complex instrumental "Schtzorythmia", "Love and Death", the moody "For Me", "The Ones Two Grieve" with great vocals and finally their adaptation of "First Movement Symphony #25 in G min" by Mozart. The songs are very diverse.

Yet another great release distributed by Moonchild Records, and a CD that should find its way to many prog lovers record collection. Impressive!
