Well I have to write this to restore some balance....

Asia may not be the prog giants that Floyd, Yes and Genesis were, but they did at least bring a flavour of the genre to the masses. Personally I don't see much to choose between their first 3 albums. Astra does have harder edged guitar courtest of Mandy Meyer (a bloke!).

1.Go - A pretty decent opener and probably their best single, and yes, I include Heat Of The Moment. (6/10)

2.Voice of America - Cliched lyrics, slightlu clumsy arrangement, but a good one to sing along to in the bath (5.10)

3.Hard On Me - This is pretty awful. Pure pop. (1/10)

4.Wishing - Again quite poppy, but it gets on my iPod - just (4/10)

5.Rock n Roll Dream - I used to think this was a very good track, but I've tired of it over the years. Cheesy lyrics and over long. (4/10)

6.Countdown to Zero - (5/10)

7.Love Now Till Eternity - Very poor (1/10)

8.Too Late - A bit like Wishing. Sing-along pop/rock. (4/10)

9.Suspicion - I can't even recall how this track goes, but I know I don't like it. (2/10)

10.After the War - The best track. Almost epic sounding. (7/10)

Anyone who likes Asia or Alpha will surely also like this, if not stay away.
