5 stars Oh yeah. This is what "Progressive Rock" really means. In this album, you'll forget about the already sicked classical music elements and the annoyingly long solos, what you'll hear is a clean, fresh new Crimson. THE DISCIPLINE. Adrian's vocal is just marvelous. Tony and Bruford's performance is impeccable. Unlike the mysterious First Period or the dark Second Period, King Crimson had become more dynamic, more chewable and easier to appreciate. But under the simple outfit are their crazy ideas. For the first time, they realized the stacking of the guitar. The notes that sound jumbled are actually interlocking and criss-crossed, just like the image on the cover, which is called INNER KNOT. Robert Fripp is a genius. After six years of dismiss, he eventually decided to reunion the band, with a new lineup and a new conception. So the legend continues from here...
