2 stars A mediocre recording, this album suffers mostly from poor compositional skills, and awful vocals. This is a very frustrating record to listen to because the band obviously has musical skills and imagination and an easily identifiable style, but the songwriting is not up-to-par, making most of the songs weak and forgetable. Overall, they rely too much on pop song structures, hemmed in by some progressive sounding passages. Otherwise, the production is excellent and arrangements are good as well. Like another reviewer said, it's good but lame and nothing about this music stands out except the terrible singing. For prog rock completists only, most prog fans will not miss anything if they do not have this album, and in fact would be better off without it.
