5 stars This CD is my revalation of 2004. It is refreshing prog rock of the highest quality. Their album 'The gates of Omega' has long songs with a lot of soundscapes. This CD has more compact songs and is more direct. From the first sounds of the titelsong, this CD grabs ya. There are many highlights on this CD, but I'll mention three of them (a) the titelsong 'Round midnight' with a chorus that won't leave your head, (b) the somewhat heavier 'Learning to live under the ground' but (c) the highlight of the CD for me is 'Wounded', so fragile, so beautiful sung and so well played, supported by the typical sound of the Hammond organ. With this CD Moongarden is now in the highest leage of ProgRock.
