5 stars Earth & Fire has been dear to me for for many years, beeing a prog-fan i prefer this record, their next and a few songs on "To the world a future". The creativity and the symphonic style that was produced in the first part of the seventies is to be found here on this recording. The mellotron(and the organ)takes you on a journey to a symphonic lansdscape followed by hammerng drums, deep bass, melodic guitar and a clear beautiful voice(from a beautiful singer). Some songs might have a popish feel to them but because of the arrangments you don`t think of them as sutch. You might say there are to much mellotron on this album(can there be to much of them?) but i guess Earth & Fire have shoosen their style so there you go! So if you can enjoy Groups like Pfm,Ange,Sandrose,Solaris........try this!
