Spanish band Sigilu's recently released second studio album showcases musical characteristics that are quite different from their debut. With a highly successful production and a multi-layered sound, this experimental album is difficult to categorize. Electric guitar takes center stage, played in a variety of styles, though heavy riffs are the most prominent. The album stands out for its unpredictable structure, as contrasting musical sections follow one another, constantly surprising the listener. Offering a wide range of sonic textures, this album is one of the most pleasant surprises of the year. It has earned a place on my list of the best releases of the year. Don't miss it!
