2 stars The debut album by this Finnish band.

Well, this album is mostly pre-Ageness songs. From the band Scarab, to be more precise. The style here is the normal progressive AOR/metal with a lot of neo-prog influences. The music also have some harder edges with metal guitars. The vocals are mostly good.

It is pretty obvious this is more a compilation album than a proper studio album. The sound levels drops and rises, depending which recording the song has been lifted from. The final half of the album is also a live recording.

The inspirations for this record is also very obvious. Some parts of it is very Marillion. Others are leaning towards Pendragon and Kansas. The Saga influences are everywhere though and some of it is sheer rip-off. In particular the keyboards.

The music is decent though, although with no great songs or any memorable tunes. I will forever remember the Saga plagiarism and that is all I can say about this album. It is not a turkey, but it is not good either. A big plus to the art-work though.
