4 stars A continuation of the sound the band introduced with Inside.

The album is really high octane with lots of reverb. It sounds more like jams than the previous albums, like a live-album almost. I think modern stoner-rock bands and fans should really check out this album. The prodcutionvalues are really great, the album is really in your face,

As for the songwriting, the songs themselves are not really memorable, it's mostly hardrocking rhythms and heavy soloiing on the guitar and organ (also a drumsolo in Castle in the Air). The fact that there are not really songs on this album but extended jams, is not something to worry about. It all works out just fine. It just depends on what mood you're in.

When you feel like high-octane, heavyrocking psych-jams with excellent (!!!) musicians than Inside and Floating are the albums you should check out. If you want to space out to mellower music, than the albums after Dawn are more suitable.

Anyway, this album fits perfectly in the heavy psychrock from germany from that day and age (like Jane, Grobschnitt, Hoelderlin etc.)
