5 stars The year was 1992, and fans of progressive rock were afflicted.

Behold the Anglagard appears and casts his masterpiece, "Hybris", the album that saved rock progressive.

The opening track, "Jordrok" is one of the best instrumentals I've ever seen in my life. Her begins with a delicate piano, but it grows until it culminates in a passage well dark.So music calms down again, a beautiful part with flaute. And then ... a majestic church organ breaks the pace, before moving on to a guitar solo that is my favorite of album. The passes by several times before quitting.

Then we have "i Vandringar Vilsenhet" one more track down heavy. The bass is enhanced diversity, especially in the final minutes (which also have a powerful organ.) Tord Lindman's voice is very beautiful and sweet, but it is only useful in the album, which is mostly instrumental.

"Till Ifran Klarhet Klarhet" is the lower range (it has "only" eight minutes) and is also the weakest, it lacks the strength and originality of others, and there's not much I can talk it up.However it grew on me a bit, I realized that there are good moments, but it is still the weakest of the album.

"Kung Bore" closes the album majestically, it starts with a delicate guitar solo that cresce. At about two minutes, after following a more upbeat, guitar and flute combine to form the main melody. The best vocal of album are in this music. The are grand finale it is about 3 minutes, ending with a powerful mellotron.

Unfortunately, Anglagard lasted a short time but left for us fans a wonderful album.
