4 stars Radioheads first great album!!

It is great but it isnt as good as any radiohead albums that followed, it was greatly overshadowed by OK computer, it isnt prog rock, it's very good alt' rock, it features some gr8 tracks, the album opens brilliantly with 'planet telex'.

however the only track that really stands up as a true 'radiohead' song (and the only one that wud have fit in well on OK computer and possibly kid A), is 'street spirit (fade out)' its also a gr8 way to end the album, its one of my favourite radiohead songs and one of their best album endings!!

this album was practically ignored wen released due to the 'brit-pop' scene taking all the attention away, it was quite an injustice, since this album is alot better than most of the brit-pop albums of 1995!!

this is a great album on its own, and a huge improvement on 'pablo honey' but compared to radiohead's later work, it doesnt stand up so well!!

4 stars - 7.5 out of 10!!
