5 stars This is an absolute trip! If you love it, it's probably a masterpiece, but it isn't exactly accessible at all. If you are a hardcore Eno fan, it's a must. If you are a hardcore Roxy or Ferry fan, same probably goes. Otherwise you have to really appreciate strangeness, creativity, and some plain oddball, wacky, music to enjoy this album. Personally I'd get, "Country Life" first... then 'For Your Pleasure" , "Stranded", "Siren" and maybe "Avalon" before attempting to get "Roxy Music". Even some of Eno's solo works (Here Come The Warm Jets, Before and After Science, Another Green World, Taking Tiger Mtn.) are probably a prerequesite to really appreciate this album. Not for the timid or closed minded.
