2 stars hmmm... I'm not surprise that E.L.O. are in ProgArchives but: 1) Wood songs aren't Rock... "Battle Of Marston Moor (July 2nd 1644)" is only a song for strings... Not classificable as Rock or a so called classic music. 2) Lynne compositions are POP with some prog credentials (sure what I'm saying?) with strings and Boogie POP rhythms. ("Momma" is the better example!) 3) "Roll Over Beethoven" is a Berry R'n'R cover with Beethoven penned insertions played by string section. And this is a pure evergreen for E.L.O.!

But said this E.L.O. is a super amazing band. Not because Prog isn't in E.L.O. music but E.L.O. is a great band for progsters that E.L.O. isn't a band with a good space in ProgArchives and in Prog audience. So, said these sentences, I hate E.L.O.. In truth E.L.O. please me because of these sentence. And because of this sentence please to Prog audience also if isn't proper a Prog band.

This compilation is a good but useless compilation by Disky Communication, a Dutch record label. And confirm my sentences!
