4 stars XV finds Kings X still blasting out their unique mixture of pop-rock-metal.

Opener Pray is a monster of a song, pounding bass, crushing guitar and drums. Dug asking the faithful to pray for him. One of the bands finest songs.

Tys standout track is the achingly beautiful repeating myself. Tys Voice suits the ballad perfectly. Its not prog but it is wonderful.

The rest of the album is of a similar standard with only rocket ship and Julie letting the side down.

Whether you could class them as a prog band is certainly open to debate but what is certain is they are a unique sound in the world of rock and have made some wonderful music in the last 20+ years

As they say - If you like what you hear then go tell somebody. I like and i'm telling!
