I prefer Heart of Ages to this release slightly (probably just because I heard it before this one) but they are almost identical. What I mean by they sound identical is that whatever you love about either album, they both have it. Great melodies, driving death/black metal chords, the singer that sounds like a giant-bird-monster. Heart of Ages has better production and slightly better songwriting IMO. Close to perfect!
