3 stars 'Twilight In The Crystal Cabinet' is another 2010 debut (have you noticed how many we had this year?) released by Swedish Transubstans Records This time coming from Sweden a band formed by apparently known musicians like Nicklas Barker from Anekdoten,Mathias Danielsson from Makajodama, and Ronny Eriksson from Magnolia(Have you heard of them? I have to recognize it's my first time). An album recorded in 2 hours, unrehearsed and improvised, and that's exactly how it sounds-like a jam session. Very good tehnically but aimless and emotionless, like in those jam sessions in which the musicians try to impress you with their skills. The music might appeal to guitar drivenjazz-rock psychedelic music fans, although not a bad album, but I heard better this year. 3.5 stars, rounded down to 3 because it failed to impress me like others that I rated with 4 stars.
