Here is a short, but sweet addition to Senmuth's discography. Covering a well-known song by the first wave black metal group Mercyful Fate (a band that renowned heavy metal singer King Diamond rose to fame with), this song can be found on the 2009 album 'Neocortex', and- simply put- towered above the other, original songs. While it doesn't top the original by Mercyful Fate, this is a fun version of a classic metal track, and Senmuth is sure to douse the song with his distinct style.

The vocals here are handled by Eresh and Lefthander, both vocalists who Senmuth has worked with in the past. The singing ranges from melodic growls, to death grunts, to some higher pitched, almost childlike vocals that resemble King Diamond's delivery, but do not have the same impact. The song's highlight comes during a very cool harpsichord breakdown, which Senmuth emulates quite well here.

This cover does not linger out of the shadow of the original track, but is quite a fun cover from this Russian experimental project.
