4 stars "Frost In Space" is a Rick Wakeman compilation that was in store from 2001.

Now, what is the argument for a rational person believe that "Frost In Space"is a masterpiece? Hmmm... The fact that the songs please too much to a rational person. Because the songs of "Frost In Space" are Prog in all view and because Rick is one of the Prog Dinosaurs that survive with great music. But this is sinonym of masterpiece? Probably no... Probably yes. I am not a rational person in the case of Rick's music: all Rick's music is masterpiece. Also this "Frost In Space". But in a correct view "Frost In Space"'s songs are saved by Rick's virtuosisms.

Song for songs... Virtuosisms for virtuosisms...: Difficult to read in a correct manner this "Frost In Space": Not the best versions are included hese. Live or studio: all instrumentals. Ok, but this is the only way for a correct evalutation? Maybe tes, maybe no. It is clear that a song as "Harlem Slalom" is only a POP song with tons of synths, Prog synths. But the version of "Eleanor Rigby" here included is only one of the various revisitation that this song had. In this case with Prog spirit. And the version of "Catherine Howard" here included is a good version? Maybe yes... Maybe no. In fact the magic is not here. But "Catherine Howard" is good also in this version. As "Lure Of The Wild".

In good substance Rick can not be loved or hated. Remain in doubt, just do not want to read correctly Rick and his approach to music. I love Rick's music, of course. But I think that I am also a rational person. And for this moyive I do not assign five stars but only four. Also if for me "Frost In Space" is a masterpiece.
