3 stars I personally think this album gets a lot of unfair press.

For many of the big prog bands of the 70's the 80's proved a challenge. Renaissance were no exception and "Camera, Camera" was like Gentle Giant's "Civilian" and Jethro Tull's "A" a failed attempt to move with the times.

In terms of the actual material if you ignore the production and presentation it's true Renaissance and even includes one of their many Russian songs in "Ukraine Ways". "Fairies" is quirky (some would say embarassing) and "Okishi-san" would if given the usual orchestral treatment be one of Renaissance's better songs.

Maybe a record to be played twice a year (3 times if you're really generous) and not the complete disaster others have reviewed it as.
