4 stars Magellanīs Impossible Figures is my first album of this band, so Iīll review the band as fairly as a can. the first thing I noticed was the influence of bands like Kansas or 70īs prog rock. In this album, Trent Gardner has not only influences from Kansas but it has also influences from ex Soundgardenīs or Audioslave vocalist Chris Cornell, almost all the times I heard Trent singing, it reminded me Kansas or Chris Cornell. The compositions are good and the track that best capture the concept Magellan has is Killer Of Hope. and I think is the best track that has Impossible Figures. The whole album was well produced and it has a good overall, letīs just hope Magellan finds itīs own sound
