4 stars This is not "The Best Of Asia... With new songs" but a sort of new start for Asia. The new version of Asia is the same original Asia without an axeman. So the axeman changes in almost every new song (Now side) but the first side (then) is the more Prog side. All the songs with Howe are good at the same level, with power, feeling and magic. The "now" side is great in "Prayin' 4 A Miracle", great power Soul Rock ballad, "Summer (Can't Last Too Long)", a good Power Rock song and in the power Solw Rock "Voice Of America", probably the best song in "now" section.

"Then & Now" is not a great album. Great in "then" section, too various for power, magic and feelings (in various manners and combinations) in "now" sections. Ultimately, "Then & Now" is an album for those who have nothing of Asia. Although not perfect and totally usable for this purpose.
