5 stars I have been fortunate enough to be able to hear an advance copy of BELIEVE. I must say I was simply overwhelmed and asounded! I find it beautiful, moving, lyrically and vocally superb, and after 20yrs of having Pendragon in my life I definately find it their finest work to date. There are some great songs, with some classic PENDRAGON sounds, and some sections which are more challenging and a bit more 'outside the box' these too I adored. I think that with this new album, Pendragon are heading into a new era, and whilst holding fast to their roots have explored some new musical ground. The bass line in 'learning curve' is simply so sexy it's unreal, vocally I don't think we have possibly heard anything so strong from Nick Barrett before, and the addition of new sounds has been used fantastically! 'Two roads' is a classic Pendragon at their best song, and I challenge ANYONE not to be moved by 'for your journey' or indeed 'the edge of the world' I think this album is essential listening!
